Summary: Supports the activities of the sales staff by performing the following duties.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Responsible for generating estimates and proposals for company projects.
  2. Ensures that client issues are dealt with in an appropriate and timely fashion.
  3. Works closely with the production team to coordinate projects and promote teamwork.
  4. Reviews and organizes portfolio management, which ensures that projects are completed professionally, from start to finish.
  5. Manages follow-up tasks after a project has been completed.
  6. Communicates with sales team, engineers, marketing assistants and the management team to maximize the success of client accounts, as well as company marketing objectives.
  7. Participates in marketing strategy meetings.
  8. Supports assigned sales team members in marketing activities.
  9. Attends weekly sales meetings, training sessions and regional/companywide meetings.

Cost Segregation Project Manager

Job Title: Project Manager or Engineer

Reports To: Director of Technical Operations

Summary: Responsible for completing cost-segregation studies. Works with the senior management team, sales team, and any other contacts to proficiently complete reports and successfully deal with client accounts. Responsible for gathering data about client properties, and then uses the information and technical training to complete a multi-step assessment process that will efficiently complete the cost-segregation study by performing the following duties.

Education/Experience:

  • Four to eight years of relevant, cost segregation industry experience.
  • Relevant education may include Engineering, Architecture, Accounting, or similar. A Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited university is required.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Constructs cost segregation reports.
  2. Responsible for preliminary research.
  3. Reviews files.
  4. Confirms signed engagement and estimate of benefits.
  5. Reviews depreciation schedule.
  6. Determines point of contact for site visit.
  7. Responsible for scheduling site visit.
  8. Reviews production instructions from company’s intranet or salesperson.
  9. Confirms service dates and cost basis for projects.
  10. Reviews plans and invoices.
  11. Responsible for printing out necessary checklists and other engineering input tools.
  12. Responsible for site visitation.
  13. Meets with contact personnel and discusses any issues not resolved during preliminary phase.

Certified HERS Rater

Job Description:

  1. Conducting blower door and duct leakage tests for residential site inspections.
  2. Generating preliminary HERS reports during the estimate phase.
  3. Performing energy modeling using Ekotrope (can be trained) or other DOE approved software’s.
  4. Develop relationships with builders to assist with testing for Certificate of Occupancy.
  5. Maintaining the back-up files for IRS audits and the mandatory QAD review.
  6. A minimum of 1 year of experience conducting HERS ratings.
  7. A minimum of 50% of travel involved.
  8. HERS Rater Certification is required.
  9. Rental vehicle and travel expenses will be covered by the company. The HERS Rater must be in possession of a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
