Leann Richmond

Leann Richmond has over 42 years of experience in ad valorem tax consulting, specializing in commercial, residential, minerals, and business personal property.

She began her career as a clerk while attending Abilene Christian University, analyzing Railroad Commission production reports. She later worked as a tax agent for firms like Cullers & Bailey and Property Tax Service Inc. before becoming an in-house consultant for Harken Energy Corporation, where she managed tax matters during its expansion into refineries and fuel distribution.

After leaving Harken in 1990, Leann worked with Tax Valuations, Inc. and later became president of Alliance Tax Group, Inc., a woman-owned firm specializing in FDIC and RTC contracts during the Savings and Loan collapse. In 1996, she joined United Paramount Tax Group, which merged with Source Advisors in 2024.

Leann provides arbitration preparation and lawsuit support, helping clients through the property tax protest process. She also assists churches and nonprofits in securing exemptions and planning for expansion.

A longtime member of the Texas Association of Property Tax Professionals (TAPTP), she actively supports its Political Action Committee. With deep ties to the West Texas oil and gas industry, Leann continues to leverage her expertise in property tax consulting and advocacy.
