The Research and Development (“R&D”) division of Source Advisors is seeking highly motivated
individuals who are comfortable reviewing and understanding R&D activity in a wide variety of
industries. The Project Manager is responsible from start to finish on an R&D project. The Project
Manager role is critical in helping Source Advisor’s clients identify, qualify and quantify R&D activities
for federal and state R&D tax credits. The Project Manager will join Source Advisors national team of
dedicated R&D Tax Credit professionals. By properly identifying qualified research activities and
associated costs, we help our clients maximize their investments in innovation and realize substantial
tax savings. While Project Managers may team up with regional technical salespeople to evaluate
prospective client’s R&D tax credit opportunities, their main role is to be responsible for leading and
performing fieldwork related to qualifying and supporting Federal and State R&D credits. Fieldwork
typically involves visiting the client location, interacting with company owners, touring client facilities,
interviewing people involved in R&D, and gaining sufficient knowledge to qualify the R&D activity. The
project manager is responsible for reviewing relevant facts, cost summary schedules, tax computations,
and written reports. The project manager is also responsible for the overall quality of the final client
deliverable.
