Tim Whipple

Tim Whipple joined Source Advisors in 2024 with extensive financial and operational experience.  Most recently he served as an Executive Partner with Sixth Form Partners where he evaluated various investment opportunities.  Previously he served as CEO of the Mintz Group, the premier global provider of investigative research and background checks. In his 13 years there, Tim grew the business from a small, regional player into a global industry leader. In addition to building out and leading transformative initiatives across many critical functions, Tim also successfully raised multiple rounds of private equity capital and executed cross-border acquisitions on three continents. Prior to the Mintz Group, Tim spent more than a decade in investment banking, where he worked with companies in a variety of M&A and capital markets transactions, as well as in private equity, where he evaluated investment opportunities in middle market services businesses.

Tim holds an MBA from Columbia Business School and a BA in Economics from Trinity College.
