BIOGRAPHY
Rachel is a Senior Director of R&D Tax Credit Services for Source Advisors. Her primary responsibilities include the oversight of the Quality and Review team along with technical staff management and development, process improvement initiatives, and contributing to the strategic and visionary direction of the practice.
She has over 20 years of R&D Tax Credit experience working across a variety of industries with clients from small start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. She is a subject matter expert in custom manufacturing including automotive, aerospace, consumer products, electronics, equipment systems, and medical industries.
Prior to joining Source Advisors, Rachel was the Managing Director at a boutique R&D tax credit firm where she spent 14 years helping clients maximize R&D tax credits. She has extensive experience with federal and state exam and appeals representation. Rachel graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a BBA in Accounting, Masters level accounting and taxation coursework from the University of Texas at Dallas, and is a CPA.
Rachel maintains an extensive technical comprehension of the R&D tax credit and is the Co-Chair for the National R&E Roundtable Group, a group that is dedicated to best practices and IRS exam advocacy and resolution.
